You can do some walking to help keep the fat demons at bay or even make up for some extra eating. So if you want to get a little extra kick for your fat loss program you can get on your feet instead of getting on the couch.
There was an interesting test done in the U.K. that took a look at the way fat and normal weight folks did their walking. On the weekend, the obese section too over 2200 fewer paces as opposed to other days of the week.
So if this is an indicator of how to get fat or stay fat, I think you should get off the couch and go for a walk.
When you do this, I want you to walk using the interval approach. This means to alternate fast intense paces with recovery rest paces.You’re going to have to do this because the subjects who were of average weights never slowed down their lifestyle. Walking can help you lose 20 pounds.
By increasing your activity level you can guard against weight gain or you can get some more weight worked off. So instead of watching TV all day on Sunday, if you’ll do some walking intervals, you can get some extra benefit while having fun too.
To do this, you will need to alternate by walking one minute intensely and the next minute for recovery.
Repeat this cycle by ten iterations and you’ll have a good way to improve your fitness program.Your metabolism should enjoy a nice healthy boost that will get you burning calories even when you’re finished. Intervals are important because just a lazy walk isn’t going to get your system going very well at all.
